A Four Day Weekend in Urbania

Last weekend, well actually from Thursday to Monday, Mum, Dad and I were in our old town called Urbania.

Urbania is a little town with about seven or eight thousand residents.

12 years ago, when I wasn’t even born my dad won a scholarship to come over to a place in Italy for a month. He and mum wanted somewhere that was small and where not much English was spoken so that they could get the most out of it. Although dad’s scholarship was only four weeks they liked Urbania so much that they stayed on for another ten months!

Then they returned with me in early 2005 when I was just a baby for nearly three months.. and now we’re here! Well not technically…..

We live in Gavirate and come down often. As Dad says, “qui ce il cuore” which means, “here is the heart”.

Here’s some photos 🙂
