Hello everyone and welcome to the second post of today!

I just logged on to WordPress to make sure that my scheduled post had gone live, and what do I see? I HAVE REACHED TWO HUNDRED FOLLOWERS!

To be honest I don’t really have much to say apart from, wow. I find it almost strange that so many people from so many different countries found my blog, liked it and then followed!

Since I really don’t have much to say, I should let you know I’ll be doing a Q&A soon, so if you have any questions, be sure to leave them in the comments by let’s say the 7th of February!

Thank you ALL so much again and I will hopefully be back again soon with a new post!

1/17th of the FPOB Collab

Hey everyone and welcome to a very exciting post!

Today I’m sharing with you my part of this collaboration (there’s 17 of us), called Favourite Part of Blogging. It was created by Shania @ Life as Shania. The people involved in the collab are:

Mahriya/Train of Thought

Closet Readers

The Stylish Dreamer

My Crazy Obsession With Books

Brookie/Ellyn Kim

Midnight Ranter/Ayaka

So… my favourite part of blogging.

If I’m honest, there are a lot of ”elements” that create that one part. Basically the elements are  the atoms, lots of atoms placed together make a molecule (or the ”part” in my case), and then lots of different molecules (the parts), create a substance (in my case, blogging).

I love meeting new people, and I love finding out about new blogs. To me, WordPress (and any other blogging platform really!), is like a massive school filled with people that like to write, or rant, or share their drawings. It’s like a ginormous place to socialise. And that’s what I love about it.

People are literally always there for you.. You might remember when I posted about the loss of my Grandpa, the amount of support and comments I got, were probably more than I got from my friends in real life.

When you need it most, the blogging community comes together, and helps you, or guides you, through whatever is going on, and that is just one of the many beautiful things about blogging.

I love blogging, I do. Even though there have been times, where I’ve had no worry whatsoever in not blogging, or writing, I always seem to come back. There must be a reason about why I do come back, but even I don’t know it.. I just know the effect of it:)

If you participated in this collaboration, please link it to me in the comments, I would love to read it!

Thank you so much for reading this, it means a lot.

How I Got Rid of Clothes, and How YOU Can Do It Too!

Well that was one of the longest titles ever! I have been clearing my clothes out recently, and I’m usually really bad at doing that, so I thought I’d share some tips with you all, in case you, just like me, find it really difficult to clean!

So before I start, I should say that I’m a very sentimental person. If someone gives me clothes or anything really, I don’t like throwing them out or donating them because I feel like I will offend the person, even though I won’t! So get it into your head, that if you no longer have a use for it, it needs to go:)

The next thing to do is empty your whole wardrobe out and divide into four piles; throw away, donate, sell and keep. Once you have the four piles, you can then put the clothes that need to be washed into the wash, put the clothes you’re donating into a big bin bag, take photos of the clothes you’re going to sell, throw out that clothes that can’t be donatred or sold, and then put away everything else.

What I also did, is with the ‘keep’ clothes, is put away all of the clothes for Summer, since in Italy it’s currently Winter. I put all of them into a big box and will swap those clothes for Winter clothes when Summer arrives!

My next tip is, don’t try to sell everything for the sake of money. Only sell things that you think will actually be bought.. so if I were you I wouldn’t try selling stained and holey clothes on a Facebook page;) It will only take up storage on your phone! Also make sure that when you advertise the clothing, to include the size and brand. And try not to accidentally sell clothes that were given to you by someone else if they are on that Facebook page or might see the post somehow!

When you’ve finished cleaning and organising everything, if you have some spare cash, go out and buy a new pair of jeans, or a cardigan.. after all, you just got rid of about ten!

Using these tips, I managed to clear out nearly two large bin bags of clothes!

If you decide to clean out your wardrobe, let me know how many bags you get rid of!

So on the 27th of January 1945, the Russians first arrived in Berlin. And that was the beginning of freedom, the start of the end.

I didn’t have my blog at the time, but before I permanently moved to Italy, my parents and I were on “holiday”. We were in Abu Dhabi, and from there went to Amsterdam. We were only in Amsterdam for three days I think, but in that short time, we did what I wanted to do most, and visited the Anne Frank House.

For those of you who don’t know who Anne Frank is (I would think most of you know of her).. Anne was born on the 12th of June 1929 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. She and her family were Jews. Anne and her family proceed to move to Amsterdam, The Netherlands. They will live “happily” for a while at least, her father creates a business and Anne will continue to make friends. The go into hiding on the morning of the 6th of July 1942 in the top part of her father’s company’s building, (the Annexe). They will be cooped inside all day, every day, for around two years, until their trust becomes betrayed and they are taken to different concentration camps but all connected to Auschwitz. Anne and her sister will die of typhus.

Anne recorded everything in a red checked diary, given to her on her 13th birthday. After the Nazi have raided the Annexe, a helper of Otto Frank (Anne’s father), collects all the loose sheets of paper and the diary and keeps them in her desk drawer. When it becomes clear that Anne and her sister Margot have sadly passed away, Miep will give the papers to Otto who then proceeds to publish them. Anne’s greatest dream was to become a famous writer.

Anne Frank was just one of the victims of the crimes, the non-human acts that Adolf Hitler performed. Her story is just one. But one is all it takes. And yet today, there is still war, because humans are never going to agree. No one will ever just accept that we are all human, and can have our differences, believe in a different God, have different coloured skin..

My Version of the Pottermore “Tag”!

Hi everyone!

If you’ve been following me for awhile, you’ll know that I’m a massive Potterhead, I’m not joking. Recently I’ve seen a lot of people sharing their Patronus, Hogwarts House and that kind of stuff so I thought I’d do the same since I find it really interesting!

My Patronus Guess: Owl or Dolphin

Much to my surprise, my Patronus is acutually a Pheasant! I’m not sure what character traits he holds, but I’ll go with it!

My Hogwarts House Guess: Ravenclaw

I think nearly everyone wants to be sorted into Gryffindor, and I actually did! Gryffindors are known for there bravery and courage, and to be honest I don’t think I fit into those two categories but I’m not gonna complain!

My Ilvermorny House Guess: Pukwudgie

I finally guessed correctly! The Pukwudgie, is an extremely fierce and independent animal. The house was named by James Steward.

My Wand:

My wand is Hazel wood with a unicorn hair core, 10 3/4″ and slightly springy flexibility.

I hope you enjoyed learning about my Harry Potter Info! Let me know yours in the comments below:)

Why Reading Is My Favourite Thing To Do

I love reading. Reading is like an art. It’s a talent. It’s something that not everyone can do. Most people can read words, but not many can truly absorb the words, and become a part of the book.

I read whenever I’m lost, sad, bored, thinking.. I read because it helps me, in so many different ways, personally and educationally. I can take an aeroplane to anywhere, Hogwarts, Prince Edward Island, you name it.. I can escape ugly days, and instead live beautiful ones where I watch from a sideline, as if I had used a pensive, to enter into a specific memory.

I don’t take reading for granted. Because I know not everybody can. I know that some people have difficulty reading, and I also get really annoyed at people, when they say that they don’t read, because they get bored. Tell me if I’m wrong, but with all the books ever created, there must be one that at least everyone could enjoy.

I read late at night sometimes, before somebody comes in and tells me to turn off the light. Then I stop. And then continue the story in my head, until I fall asleep. And dream.
Do you read? Why? What do you like about it?
