Another award! YAAASSSS!

The amazing Orangutan-Librarian has nominated me to do the Sunshine Blogger Award. If you’re not already following her, I suggest you do, because she makes awesome  book reviews and she always has the best answers to tags and awards:)

The Award Rules:

  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Answer the 11 questions you were asked
  • Nominate 11 other bloggers and let them know they were nominated
  • Ask the nominees 11 questions

The Orangutan-Librarian’s questions:

If time travelling was an option, which historical figure would you most like to meet?

Hmmm, I’ve got three. William Shakespeare, Adolf Hitler and Albert Einstein. All thee of these men have a story to tell. I’d ask Shakespeare where he got his inspiration and creativity from… I’d ask Hitler, why he did what he did to the Jews, why did he feel like he was superior and that they were worth nothing. And I’d ask Einstein, did you always want to become what you became, some of your theories, that are no longer theories but are facts, how long did they take to discover… oh and I thought I’d mention this because I noticed it, did you realise that all three of these men, the most common name for them is by their last name??

And who would you like to meet if it wasn’t an option?

Meaning I have to meet one of them? Okay, if I’ve understood the question correctly then I would want to meet Hitler, there is so much that we don’t know about the 2nd World War but that we need so much. Please let me know if I’ve answered this correctly:)

When daydreaming about time travelling (c’mon we all do it!) do you worry about the butterfly effect?

If I’m honest, I didn’t actually know what the butterfly effect was, but thanks for asking because I’ve learnt something new! Okay… I think like 1% of me would worry,  because in a millisecond Australia could disappear. Stuff that, I would worry.

What are your feelings about James Bond?

Ermmmmmmm…he does crazy things and is a good spy, (I think) and is very overrated for his looks.

If you were a spy, what gadget would you most like to have?

Hmmmmmm, maybe a gadget that makes me become invisible.. wait no, even better, a button that I can press and it makes me evaporate into thin air, that way I could spy on whoever I wanted, whenever I wanted:)

Would you make a good international superspy or a bad one? Why?

With some training I thing I’d do pretty well, I’m reasonably strong (thx Daniel) and I’m quite good at solving problems.

How often do you fly in dreams?

Often, I think. Although I didn’t last night.. In fact last night I was dreaming something totally different, I was a victim of a terrorist attack set up by ISIS and coincidentally, I think it was in Paris.

If you could reinvent the world what colour would you make the sky?

Not a pinky or purple-ly colour, that would make the sky too much like lollies. Maybe a nice shade of turquoise or lime green…

If you’d been born in the dark ages, do you reckon you’d have believed the earth was flat?

I probably would have, I assume from what I have read that the leaders of that period would have been quite manipulative and wouldn’t have liked it at all if you had a belief in something else. But maybe, just maybe, I would secretly believe the opposite, at the bottom of my soul:)

On a scale of one to ten, how surreal do you feel like these questions are getting?

9 and 3/4!

I’ve run out of questions- do ten star jumps!

I found it really interesting to read who would you meet, fascinating choices! Some of the most significant men in history. And what a wonderful question about reinventing the sky, my friend is colour blind and she sees the sky as purple!
